These two pavers are held together with a cable tie. The gap between them is one mm. Water can not pass through the small crack. We can move the stones against each other and the water will not pass through.
When we pull the blocks apart, to give a gap of 4mm the water passes through.
This coat of SWG has created a crack bridging ability of 4mm. Remarkable!
This Victorian stone wall is built from Limestone with a sand/ cement pointing. When we spray the wall with water you can see that the stone and pointing absorbs water.

It is this easy to spray an SWG water repellent coating onto the lower half of this wall.
This video shows that the lower half of the wall is not absorbing water. The water is beading down the wall.

Waterproof Sand bags - Each grain of this sharp sand is water-repellent and is preventing the penetration of water through the gaps between the grains. I this is filled into sand bags, it makes the bags completely water repellent, so no seepage.

SWG is cheaper and better then Scotchguard, one litre o SWG will treat the upholstery in two cars and your home and still leave some to spare. The upholstery surface will be completely water-repelant after two coats of SWG

Two spray coats of SWG give this water-repellant surface.
